There are Scholarships being made available all the time and they cover a broad range of areas and have differing selection criteria. Two resources you can use to search for Scholarships are below:

The "Good Universities Guide" Scholarship Finder:

This is the largest and most comprehensive scholarship database in Australia.

The "Country Education Foundation":

This website specifically offers scholarships aimed at Rural and Regional students.

Macquarie University Merit Scholarships

For secondary students with an ATAR of 98.5 or above, $12,000 per year for up to 5 years. See here for details.

UNSW Academic Achievement Award (AAA)

AAA offers will be made by UNSW to students that achieve the highest ATAR at eligible schools within NSW.   The scholarship includes three bonus points (excluding Medicine and Co-op programs) and a single payment of $4,000 following confirmation of full-time enrolment at UNSW. More details here.  

UTS Bachelor of Accounting

For secondary school leavers with an ATAR between 90 and 99.95. All students in the course receive a scholarship of up to approximately $51,500 over the three years and a a year of full time industry experience.  Read about the details here.  

Western Sydney University Academic Excellence Scholarship

Secondary students with an ATAR over 90 are eligible to apply. The award offers $5000 per year for up to four years. See details here.  You must list a Western Sydney University degree as your first preference by UAC close of preferences in early January. 

Western Sydney University Vice Chancellor's Leadership Scholarshp
  • $10,000 per year for up to 5 years
  • Selection criteria - evidence of leadership and community involvement

UNSW Co-op Scholarship

The program incorporates industry experience, leadership and professional development, networking, mentoring and financial support,. Scholarships are offered in the Business School, and Faculties of Engineering, Science, and The Built Environment.

The minimum ATAR requirement is 96.  Read about the Co-op scholarship and apply here

B Information Technology UTS (BIT scholarship)

Successful students receive a total of approximately $49,500 for the BIT Co-operative Scholarship over the duration of the degree. Combine work and study and develop professional skills while on work placement.  Closing date varies as there are two application rounds.  Final closing date is 13th October 2017.
